Celebrating St. Bartholomew Day on August 24. It is an annual feast day to celebrate the life and miracles of St. Bartholomew, one of the first apostles of Jesus Christ. He dedicated his life to spreading the teachings of Jesus. St. Bartholomew is the patron saint of tanners, tailors, plasterers, and leatherworkers. He is also associated with bookbinders, farmers, house painters, butchers, and glove makers due to the manner of his death. Because of his efforts to spread Christianity in Armenia, he is also the patron saint of that country.
