International Decora Day is observed on the last Saturday of July every year and this year, it falls on July 26. The word ‘decora’ comes from the Japanese word for ‘decoration.’ This Japanese fashion style has become the face of Harajuku fashions internationally. Although the style’s peak was in the mid-2000s, it is still popular and well-known in Harajuku.
